Address change - HDFC Acc frozen - fixed
I had changed address through Net-banking in April mid and it was accepted by the month end, but right on May 8th 8 PM they froze my account for failure to receive letter at current address (there was no calls or courier).
9th was 2nd Saturday, on Monday when visited bank they were not helpful at all as someone can help was actually left early and was asked to visit again, Tuesday they agreed to get it fixed, on 16th a guy from bank visited to current address and on 19th my account was working again.
It almost takes 10 days to get your account working until then you can’t withdraw.
When asked how to avoid this bank employee said visit nearest branch and get address change from them instead of online🙂. Then what’s the point of net-banking/ relationship manager etc ?
