I fell down the stairs at home two years ago & am now qualifying for ankle surgery. I need to be non-weight bearing for one month & then can slowly part putting more weight on my ankle for another month. I would be on a knee scooter until the second week of school. Has anyone done this before? I’ll be starting at a new school in a DCD (developmental cognitive delay) classroom for k-2. HR isn’t answering me on if it’s something they can accommodate. I feel like I’m losing either way if I decide to get the surgery vs delaying it. Help me decide!
