penultimate internships but could be final year

I have some internship offers/final rounds that were targeted at penultimate students. At the time of applying for the internships months ago, I was certain I was finishing next year. However, I somehow managed to handle this trimester without dropping any courses, so I am able to either do 1 course next year and graduate may, but it’s now possible for me to graduate this year.
Family want me to graduate this year, I didn’t care either way until very recently when I realised it might be nice to have that time off or working at my other job.

Problem is I haven’t communicated this yet out of fear that it would hurt my chances of moving through. I’m worried that now even asking if it’s allowed for me to take the opportunity to graduate this year is going to make them think I was lying so far and make me ineligible, why didn’t I mention this in the first round etc.

On one hand I don’t see how it makes any difference to them whether I’m a student graduating in 5 months or a recent grad at the time of the internship. That being said, it seems like a very awkward conversation to have with a lot on the line for not much benefit. Should I mention it in upcoming final rounds?
