I’m sitting here a little drunk thinking about how the season has played out before the final game on Sunday.
I can’t actually find anything to moan about . Of course there’s niggles . Nothing is perfect. I’m genuinely proud to be part of the fanbase, I’m proud of the manager, the squad , the ownership structure .
Of course I want more. Some players we love will have to leave to bring in more quality/improvement …. But what a great position to reflect on this season from. An FA cup semi and Hopefully a 50/50 that we get 50 points or we get spurs relegated . Finishing really close to teams like Everton who have been almost lauded this season.
We get to enjoy a World Cup and I’m not sure about you lot but I’m honestly really excited about our potential next season . MOT

I’m writing this and I’m honestly pretty shattered , it may still be too soon after the game.

I’m not fussed that we lost , it’s the manner of the defeat. We never looked ready for it .

I’m not angry , as the title suggests I’m proud of us getting this far . If anything it’s a reminder to anyone feeling down tonight, that we’re gutted to be knocked out of an FA cup semi final. Forget the whys , just repeat that a few times and that pride comes back.

Let’s see the season out in style now , enjoy a World Cup and maybe surprise a few next season .
