Taking the metro/train worth it?

My car just stopped working. The transmission went out (Nissan) at 130k miles. Not sure when I will have a reliable transportation, but the bus/train ride to my gym will take a total of 1 HR & 30 mins and back. It seems like a hassle vs my normal 20-30 minutes drive plus I've never taken a metro before. Do you guys think it's worth it to do this everyday until I have a reliable transportation? Do you guys take the train/bus as well?

My First Set-Up.

It ain’t much but it’s honest work. Ngl, I hate my desk but I already paid for it. This was weeks ago, but I replaced my mouse with a Viper V3 Pro. New Microphone (Fifine K688) and a way better chair that I found at work.

Anyone in this company that has worked their way up within Penske and do you recommend it?

My goal is to become a diesel mechanic. I have experience on preventative maintenance in the Army as a Tank Crewman though it’s been since 2021.

I’m currently in the security field as a armed guard. I get compensated well, but looking for a career with advancement opportunities. It’s just not aligned with my future goals of starting a family and being stable.
