Left turn signal causes emergency flashers to turn on
1998 XJ Classic 4WD 4.0 automatic, 2nd owner. When I turn on my left turn signal, my emergency flashers go off; right turn signal works as expected. Original owner installed wiring harness for trailer lights; installation appeared to be normal. To correct the problem I carefully removed the old trailer wiring harness and installed a new one that plugs into the connector behind the driver’s side cargo panel. Problem continues….
Any ideas?
