Big Boy RTX 5070 in NR 200
Setup: i5 12600k, GIGABYTE RTX 5070 Gaming OC, 32gb DDR5, corsair sf850 in a NR 200 V1
Fan configuration: rear intake, CPU fan pull air from the radiator, top exhaust, a mix of noctua and be quiet silent wing 4 with mesh panel.
Performance and fan noise: barely hear anything in all occasions, Forza Horizon 6 Ultra + RT around 110+ fps with 2x frame gen, both CPU and GPU are at around 53C in Tokyo.
Just got the gigabyte RTX 5070 gaming OC to replace my MSI RTX 3070 VENTUS 2X OC, this card is indeed huge which initially I didn’t think would fit and took a lot of effort to put it in. The cooling on the card is absolutely crazy, with under-volting in MSI afterburner, the fans barely spins in any situations. Also I took one of the rear panel off thought it would give me better airflow, which ended up making the intake sounding like a jet, until I added some mesh after finishing the build.
Can’t think of a better air cooling configuration than this, but I’m open to suggestions for improvement and questions .
