What is happening is absolutely unbelievable. Over the last few months, ever since they introduced Gemini Pro 3.1, things have been getting worse and worse. What happened today is something you simply cannot believe.

This morning I went into Gemini and saw that the design had changed, but it looks like a design taken from another era. I honestly can’t even say from what year, but it feels as if the previous design had been made by an elementary school student, I really can’t describe it any other way.

The conversations, on top of that, get mixed together with each other, it’s absolutely unbelievable, there are no words to describe this.

And what’s even more unbelievable is that, whenever code is generated or anything similar, they removed the download icon, something that was actually useful and had already been implemented before. Now they’ve removed it, which basically means they expect you to constantly copy and paste everything, forcing users to do extra work for things that could previously just be downloaded directly.

And the worst part is that now, even while paying, we have less than half of what we had before. There used to be Flash for quick responses, then models that analyzed things a bit more deeply, and then Gemini Pro. But now they’ve added two Flash models that, after trying them, honestly feel like complete garbage.

And I’ll tell you something, and you can test this yourselves, I uploaded an HTML code template I have and asked it to change colors in several sections. What did it do? It returned the template code incomplete, I’d say it didn’t even return 30% of the code, and that was with Flash Lite and Flash.

And with the Pro model, which is closer to what used to exist for deeper analysis, something unbelievable happens, in one moment it says one thing and in the next response it says something completely different. At best it gives you 70% of the code, full of errors and doing things that were never even requested, I honestly don’t know how to describe this.

I also don’t understand what’s happening with images, it simply doesn’t work. It doesn’t matter if you ask Gemini to generate an image showing how part of a template could look or how a modified design from some code might appear, you can ask it whatever you want, it makes no difference, because it directly tells you that it cannot do it.

So my question is, what is all of this about? It makes no sense. It makes no sense to have a product that was working well and then make these kinds of changes. It’s obvious that things are getting worse, because removing the download icon, among other things, goes completely against usability and against common sense in every possible way.

On top of that, now they’ve turned everything into paid subscriptions. Before there were trial options or temporary access plans, but now they’ve removed all of that. They left a basic subscription, which I can already tell you is completely useless, it’s practically the same as using the free version, then there’s a Pro plan that feels below 50% of what used to exist before, and after that there’s an even more expensive plan.

I honestly don’t know what game they’re playing, but my recommendation is to stop using this, because it’s obvious what’s happening. It makes no sense to take something that was working well and deliberately make it worse like this.

This is unacceptable, what Gemini does is totally unacceptable. There are no words to express what is happening, it is a disgrace. It cannot even review a simple HTML code and fix things that are straightforward. It does not remember what it did, it destroys the code, it does truly outrageous things. You cannot trust anything it does, it makes mistakes and messes up all the time, it even starts arguing and being rude.

As for generating images, it is impossible. It refuses to generate images, even just to see how a website would look with a certain code. It says stupid things, when you send it a link to show a design style, it says "models" and claims it will not do that, as if it were something else. It is incredible how garbage this is, how lacking everything this artificial intelligence is. This is not intelligence or anything, it is trash.

I even set up a protocol with over 20 points indicating things it must not do. It says it has taken note, and then it keeps doing whatever it wants. It gives the code in pieces, does not do what it is told, and even changes fields and values that were already there. It is truly disgusting, it is incredibly shitty, it is a shame.

I do not know who is responsible for this, but they should be fired or put in jail once and for all, because it is causing problems that are unbearable. I am paying for a Pro version that dedicates itself to censoring my work, messing it up, making me waste my time, and ruining my productivity. I paid for something that is completely useless. It used to work before. You even ask it to write a letter for an invoice, and it refuses, saying that because a name appears, it will not impersonate anyone. What kind of stupidity is that? That invoice is not legal until I put my name, all the other details, and my identification on it. It is unbearable.

I do not understand how they ended up with this garbage. It is useless for work or anything else. Whoever is behind this is truly incompetent. It is honestly the biggest piece of trash I have ever seen since version 2.5. I do not know what they did, but going from being able to do actual work and get things done to this, something impossible to use, is incredible. It is truly incredible to what levels of stupidity Gemini has reached. Right now it is useless for everyone, you simply cannot use it.
