How long was your rhinoplasty process from start to finish?

Hi everyone! How long did the rhinoplasty process take for you, from scheduling your consult to day of surgery? I’m asking because I had a consult in December, paid my scheduling deposit, but the office isn’t giving me a surgical date. They’re saying that surgeries are trending a year after the consult date, and that they will reach out 2-3 months in advance when they have a surgical date to offer. Is this a normal timeline? And is this a normal way to schedule? They’ve moved the goalpost of my anticipated surgery date several times (I was told around a seven month wait at my consult, then I was told a 10-12 month wait when I put down my scheduling deposit in January, and I just reached out and they’re telling me over a year long wait from the patient’s consult date), and I was not told this is how scheduling would be handled at my consult. I thought I would be able to schedule my surgery, however far out, and it feels somewhat unprofessional to have a patient pay $1000 and only provide them with a vague timeframe.

Basically just wanting to know what kind of wait and scheduling process is normal, as I don’t want to pressure the office for a surgical date if this is a completely normal way to handle things. I started the process of trying to get a rhinoplasty a year ago, and to not even have a surgical date at this point is so incredibly frustrating!
