Has anyone ever had any success getting a launchpad mini to work in FLSM on Android?

I previously had a MK1 which is documented not to work, so I got myself a MK2. It works fine on FLS on the big computer but if I plug into my phone (pixel 8 pro) it just displays patterns. If I plug it into my Lenovo android tablet, I at least get a prompt in FL Studio asking if I want to allow it to be controlled, but then nothing happens after I confirm.

It theoretically should work, but I don't want to waste hours on it if it just doesn't, so just wondered if anyone else had managed to get it working

Sat 9th may. Face value if you're interested. It's a digital ticket but I assume I can transfer it if we meet in person and you pay cash
