I am considering surgery for external hems, because the swelling causes me discomfort daily.

If you had the surgery, please share your experience. I am especially interested in how it was done. External hems only please, no prolabsing internals - I can‘t find a lot of info about this online, whereas the surgery options for internal hems seem to be well documented.

Edit: My hems are not thrombosed. They just swell up which is painful.
