Upgrade gear or bike?
Hey guys! I’m very new to this community but I’m struggling with a dilemma.
I’m a salesman in a bike shop shop and I can exchange extra hours I’ve made + unspent holiday hours into stuff for my bikes
And at this point I’m not sure on what to do
My current bike is a Giant Propel Advanced 2 with Shimano 105 (mechanical) groupset + pedals, and I’ve already upgraded it with a proper set of carbon wheels + proper racing tyres and I’m quite fond of the bike.
But I’m thinking about upgrading this one with powermeter pedals from Garmin + an indoor trainer to keep me busy in the winter when I’m not riding my Mountainbike.
I’ve only ridden this bike for about 1500km btw. Got it late on the season lol
Or I’m thinking about upgrading my bike altogether. Our shop has a brand deal with Ridley (a Belgian brand) and they make custom bikes. And they make a mean Aero bike, thinking about the Noah 3.0. Not the Noah fast 3.0 that one is a little out of my budget 😅
Either of these options I can do without spending a single dime because of the hours I’ve accumulated over the last few years (I quite dislike taking holidays lol)
Any thoughts?
Appreciate it :)
