Outdoor Faucet Diagnosis
Hey Yall—my partner thinks a hose was left on in a recent winter and this spigot has been dead since. The knob spins freely. I removed the handle and tried to remove the wall cover, but the whole mechanism was moving more than I like when trying to pry the rubber/plastic away. (We’re in Colorado)
Should I be able to remove the cover and further diagnose on my own? I know I may need to turn off the water main for some things, just not sure when the risk of internal damage increases 😅
Please advise on next -safe- steps or if I just need to call in a professional.
