Question: I've been told that the phrase"pull it" is not a recognizable or known phrase among demolition experts. Is that true?

As some of you can guess, I am referring to the 9/11 event involving Building #7, in which the owner Larry Silverstein said it was best to just "pull it" when he was confronted by crews about the building being beyond saving.

To someone that's not in the demolition industry, such as myself, I've been led to believe that the term "pull it" is a widely used and recognizable phrase among crews, which means to intentionally bring down the building.

However, I've also been told that crews never really say that term much, and even if they do, then it means bringing down a building with cables and attachments, as opposed to bringing it down with explosions.

I'm not trying to get political here or discuss conspiracy or any of that. I just genuinely want to know if it's a widely used term, and if it is, what does it actually mean when you use it?

Thanks
