Elementary teacher here of 15 years teaching 6, 7, 8 over those years. Really feeling like a need a change so have been looking at moving to high school to see if I'm a better fit vs. looking for another career. Unfortunately only one high school in the city I'm in with my board and no opportunities there right now. There is a 5 line Science opening at school about 30-40 minute drive vs 10 minute drive currently. Anyone that's made the switch to high school, is the commute worth the change? Really not sure what to do. I'm nervous about switching and still dreading day to day but now with a commute.
