Should I just take the pills? What do you think?
I’ve had on and off high blood pressure since 2020. Sometimes it’s high at the hospital, sometimes normal at home, and sometimes high at home too. It’s been inconsistent for years.
In 2025, my doctor told me I should start blood pressure medication, but I never actually took it because I kept thinking maybe it’s not serious enough yet.
Now my Apple Watch gave me a notification saying there may be signs associated with elevated blood pressure, and it honestly made me anxious.
Part of me feels like I should just start the medication and stop overthinking it, but another part of me worries about starting pills “too early” or being on medication for life.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? Did you regret starting meds, or regret waiting too long?
I am 32M.
