How do I mop my kitchen floors?
I need a step by step guide please on how to mop, down to which mop and bucket I should buy. I have learned many skills since living alone but keeping my floors maintained has not been one of them. I've lived in my apartment for a couple of years now and have not mopped once. I consider myself to be a relatively clean person so there is a lot of shame behind asking for help, but here I am, with an ant problem no less. Can someone break it down for me, please?
ETA: thanks for all of the suggestions! I'm buying a mop, bucket, disinfectant floor cleaner, and some ant traps tonight. I'm hoping to clean it within the next week. I think I just needed to hear that it's really only a couple steps to get it done because my brain makes it feel like it's a huge task and has to perfect. Even if it's not perfect, it'll still be cleaner than when I started! The floors in my house are super old and any steam mop will probably ruin the floor so I won't soak it either.
