Took Humanities and Educational Psych today

I'll be doing a couple of vid reviews for these, but figured I'd write out some thoughts here while they were fresh.

Humanties - Scored a 60. It's just as much of a beast as I remembered from last time. 140 questions of just random, how in the world are you expected to know this, knowledge. Greek myths, feminist authors (and not the well-known ones), architects for Olympic Games, movie directors, identifying books or poems from small excerpts such as "Which book starts with this line..." ballet, opera, musical theory, swing dancing, pottery, analyzing sections of poetry and literature (this was the easiest part).

All in all, a beast. The fact that it has 140 questions is actually a good thing, as it means the grading curve is forgiving. It looks like you can miss almost half of the questions and still pull a pass, which ended up being a good thing in my case. :P

Educational Psychology - Scored a 63. A much easier exam. I hadn't really studied for it, relying on the previous Psych cleps that I'd taken recently and a quick QA run-through of our study guide. Based on what I saw, we cover everything you'd need on it for a pass and if you studied the material more than a day like me, you'll likely be getting a much higher score. The only thing that really threw me for a loop was the required math, such as calculating the standard deviation for something or being given a grading curve and then being asked for specific information about that curve.

Vids incoming, probably next week along with the quick prep bundles for these.
