Would you play a cat based browser sim?
I've been interested in making a browser game for a while, and I thought about basing it on feral cats, basically where you'd play as a cat in the wild, have other cats join your colony/clan and have to hunt and fight, etc. I don't know if anyone plays it but it'd be similar to the likes of Lioden, Wolvden, Flight Rising, etc. as well as Clangen but instead browser based with other differences. I was thinking of making it based on a semi-realistic genetic system, ie. with real cat base coats and markings that would also be taken into consideration when your cats have kittens (for example a red tabby x red tabby wouldn't be able to produce a random black or gray/blue cat, and definitely no neon rainbow cats)
The cats would also have levels and stats, and with fighting (I was thinking of a sort of DND vibe with battles) and hunting you'd earn experience to level up and a set amount of stat points you'd be able to choose to increase, as well as other things like a crafting system, healing system, etc. There might also be a loose storyline with quests or requests handed out by NPC's.
Your group wouldn't need to be called a clan either, I was thinking of making group and rank names completely customisable so you could call it a tribe, a clowder, a pack, etc. I have a whole page of more in-depth ideas and system ideas however I kind of just wanted to get some feelers out by posting this, and if anyone would be invested in it and would play something like this
