Someone plugged the tub spout (yes it is lower than code and where the overflow should be but thats a different issue for another post) to make it a permanent shower. I can twist the three pronged metal and wiggle it but it stays put pulling down. The old spout is threaded i recall but the big chunk of metal that the three prong thing sits in is not twisting right now (might need better wrench). Anyway any ideas what is that stopper? An improvised thing or a standard part? Want to figure out my gameplan for the tub/shower refinishing and step 1 is trying to remove that thing
