I know you techincally *can* sand and refinish, at least once, with a good wear layer. But with all the brushed finishes out there, how does this work? Has anyone done a sand and refinish on a brushed engineered plank, and if so, how did that turn out? I'm deciding between 5" prefinished solid wood, and 7" engineered, both with wire brushed finishes, which I prefer.
