How do you go about re-applying to same company after rejection?

5 YOE, im looking at Senior and mid level positions of SE, SDE, etc.

Specific advice for Dev roles, not management or other please.

Lets say I apply to microsoft and the following happens:
* Ghosted or rejected before first round
* Rejected or ghosted, after first round or later
* The above two scenarios in referrals vs cold apply online, for example, is it feasible for my friend to refer me again to other openings in same company or useless.

How should I go about re-applying, just reapply? or maybe wait? use a different email/account on the application? Make my resume completely different, even by formatting?

I want to be as efficient as possible here and not waste time to apply if its guaranteed.

Thanks all.

Resigning on Monday due to extreme pressure. Need advice.

4 YOE. Waterfall 6 month project got screwed cause of late scope change, feature was not deferred. Timeline can’t be pushed. Quality of my delivery will be extremely low. I am the only qualified developer on this feature, juniors under me are clue less. Next two projects build off this, I will be in hot-seat for years.

Worked 60-70 hours and every weekend since February. Worked recent weeks in a row of 95 hours, 8-11:30 every day. Through holiday as well. Missed parents bdays and haven’t seen friends in months. Affecting relationship with my gf who i live with.

I never cried, never had anxiety issues in my life until these last couple weeks. Now I am a shaking nervous wreck, I have thrown up from stress multiple mornings, breaking down every day, lost 15 pounds.

I am talking to my manager today and being upfront and honest, so will see how that goes.

need advice.

I always told myself it is stupid to quit a job when you dont have another lined up, but I cannot quiet quit. I have a pit in my stomach, a pressure that’s been there for months and I simply cannot continue on like this. I struggle to just give up and screw my coworkers and team. Which i will do anyways by quitting.

Am i being impulsive? The thought of “scaling” down work right now and looking for a job doesn’t seem possible, it seems tiring and more exhausting. another major pressure on top of work.

i dont know.

[EDIT] Financially I have savings for over a year of unemployment roughly, and then if I sell stock I have enough for 3-5 years. I have a great familial support system as well.

[EDIT2] Usa citizen. Usa company.
