Royal Enfield Meteor 350 dies at stops / red lights when shifting into 1st or Neutral. Already tried common fixes.

Hey everyone,

I’m running out of ideas with my Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and could really use some technical advice from fellow owners or mechanics.

The bike starts completely fine and rides smoothly. However, the moment I slow down for a stop or a red light and shift into either 1st gear (with the clutch fully pulled in) or into Neutral, the engine just dies. It feels like the RPM drops too low at idle when coming to a stop, and it just cuts out.

Here is what I’ve already done to try and fix it:

Replaced the spark plug with a brand new one.

Installed a brand new battery.

Cleaned the throttle body thoroughly.

Added a fuel additive/cleaner to the tank.

Unfortunately, the issue is still happening.

Since this happens specifically when coming to a stop and dropping to idle, I'm wondering what to check next. Could it be a Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) issue, a faulty idle air control, or maybe the valves need adjustment?

Any troubleshooting steps or advice would be highly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.
