Hey there. I would love to come to the US and be a Assistant Prof. I am a translational scientist - MD/PhD with 34 pubs (+ 1 postdoc 1 year and maybe a second one incoming for 3 years).
However I am not inclined doing clinical work so I just want to do research and teach.
Is that a viable path as seem from the US perspective ? Especially with the crazy situation going on ?
