Not gonna lie, i thought this was ai, apparently it is not. Glad to see he is doing just fine.

Ok, personally, i was hooked since the first movie to this universe, the colors, the sheer level of imagination and creativity it took to conceive this world. I love all that.
BUT... I also I'm a strong believer that nothing and no one is above reproach, constructive criticism and judgement.
... the story... how should i say this? is a bit bland, and predictible, the plot of the three movies could be put inside a match box despite the length of the movies, with the same exact points repeating in all three.
I feel like we ended up in the same spot as before this time, there is no real progression, no fulfillment, no catarsis. The third movie in a trilogy should be a ending of sorts if its not the last movie, but it came with no pay off, just more questions and vague answers to existing ones. This last movie felt more like more built up than anything else, and that left me a bit frustrated.
That said, i feel like this franchise needs something new, a real twist, it needs its own Empire strikes back movie, but i fear we wont get that with JC at the helm, he cares too much for his characters to actually do anything to them, he is playing it safe for them and that takes something from the story, there is no real stakes, no jeopardy, no Schrodinger's cat, we know its alive, so... yeah.
What you guys think?
