After shazaming the song, asking the cafe owner for a playlist, and sculpting Google searches to narrow down exact lyrical matches I have come to the final line of defense for finding a song I heard in a cafe.

What I know:

1. Song was in English

2. Chill funky genre, not fast but not as slow as something like lo-fi

3. Male vocalist, probably just one

What may or may not help is I caught what seemed to be the next song in the playlist which I also couldn't identify but had the exact lyrics "Americano, main character night" so that may help if it's the same artist which it seemed to be.

Why I didn't take a recording of the songs I'll never know. If anyone knows that'd be great!
