I remember seeing a horror film being talked about online which I believe may have been French or Belgian. It was about a rural town that had just done their winter solstice festival but then spring never comes. The weather remains bitterly cold and the ground iced over for months after it should have warmed up. Soon, as food runs out and desperation sets in, the townsfolk are at each other's throats and seeking more and more violent means to survive and to break winters strangle hold on their town.

I've got a free afternoon and the taste for despondent folky horror and fancy giving it a go. However, its been ages since I saw the thread and searches have been unsuccessful.

Does this description ring any bells for anyone?
