Primer(2004): HOW and WHEN is the machine(box) switched off?

Watched Primer for the first time today and was blown away. Saw a yt video explaining the movie too.

But putting aside all the paradoxical situations, How and when is the box switched OFF?

As the picture shows the person(having travelled back in time) when comes out of the box, leaves it switched ON so that the original one(who switched it ON) can come back and go inside the box.
Also later in the movie, Abe switched the box ON at evening 5 pm which made me wonder when was it switched OFF after they came out of the box earlier in the day.

Contaminated water supply in North-west Delhi

It’s been more than 3 days and the water supply is still contaminated. Foul smelling like sewage got mixed. Anyone else facing the issue? What can we as a citizen do?
