Hi,

I am applying for UK visa in SFO. I currently have Indian passport which is eligible for evisa. I wanted to know if I take "Standard" free appointment for California- San Francisco location, do I get my passport back at the same time as I walk out of my appointment or do they hold the passport ?

I need passport back with me at the end of the appointment and so trying to find out if that is supported for everyone at "Standard" free appointment at SFO location or do I need to buy any additional services and if so how can I buy them?

I saw there is premium application center in San Jose which charges $250 and I am hoping that would return passport same day after verification as I walk out. But not sure if Free service in SFO would do the same?

I am trying to see if anyone has figured out the way to check for silent API updates for I-485 receipt starting with LIN code ? What I read is that is some old system and there is no good way to get silent updates on those? MyCaseHub chrom plugin but I dont see any updates so wanted to check.
