Here’s how it’s gone during this interview process for a Senior Analyst role at a mid size company. Currently an Analyst at a F50, 2 YOE. Graduated their FLDP program.

HR Screen:

  • They asked what I was thinking for a range. I said 100-105. I probably low balled myself here.

Hiring manager interview:

  • No talk of salary. Hour long call. Went well.

Director/ VP conversations:

  • Also went well. There was supposed to be another in person interview but they went ahead and offered.

The offer:

  • 100k and 6% bonus.

Should I come back and ask for 110k? Is that bad form? I am not itching to leave my current F50 Analyst role, so it kind of feels like playing with house money, it wouldn’t be the end of the world if I blew this opportunity. I don’t think I would leave for current offer. Thoughts?
