I’m a 25 yo active duty Air Force officer working in aircraft maintenance. Currently I lead a team of around 250 personnel and will most likely deploy at some point in my career. Recently I’ve felt like I stopped pursuing my goals and haven’t been able to make an impact like I thought. I’ve always felt a calling to LE throughout my life since high school and want to start taking steps towards it. I have a bachelors in military & strategic studies and currently working on MBA w/ a focus on project management with about 3 years left in my active duty service commitment. Clean record. I think I would like to work patrol and not detention. Also interested if available to use my credentials to work anything related to logistics/supply chain, operations management or leadership in general. I’m currently out of state of the sheriff’s office I would be applying in the future. Only reason I’m asking Reddit is I haven’t been able to find much info on my specific scenario. If you were in my spot, what would you do? Any advice on the process? Realities that I’m not aware of? Thank’s in advance for your responses and for your service!
