I’m not experiencing any benefits

I’m 19F, I was just recently diagnosed with ADHD (mixed type). My psychiatrist gave me a trial of Qelbree and so far I’m not sure I’m experiencing any benefits? It hasn’t been a bad experience necessarily but I can’t say it’s been good either.

For context, I already experience insomnia and I take trazodone to help with it. I am also on lexapro for GAD. Oh and I’m anemic.

So far, the benefits include less head noise. Whereas the side effects include:

- extreme constipation (I haven’t pooped in 2 weeks and I am already a constipated person)

- worsened insomnia and fatigue during the day. And physical fatigue too. I am on my feet all day at work, my legs feel so weak on this medication.

- low blood pressure

-light headedness

-nausea

- EXTREME DRY MOUTH. I drink so much water. It never goes away.

I’m just not seeing improvement. I don’t want to live with the side effects to experience no benefit. It’s making my preexisting problems worse just to have less head noise.
