  • Premium Processing: No
  • Date Applied: 03/08/2026
  • Biometrics Completed: 03/24/2026
  • RFIE / NOID: None

Hey everyone! Sharing my timeline as another March applicant. I've been waiting for over 5 months now (161+ days). Since my case went out of normal processing time, I raised a case inquiry with USCIS on August 10th.

Currently debating whether to hold tight a few more days for a response to the inquiry or just upgrade to Premium Processing now.

For those who applied in early/mid-March, are you starting to see approvals come through after filing an inquiry, or are you upgrading to Premium? Appreciate any insights or similar timelines!

MD Round Completed After Superday, 4 Weeks of Silence – What to Expect?

Hey everyone,

I recently finished the interview process for a Vice President (VP) Software Engineering role at Goldman Sachs and was hoping to get some advice or perspective on the timeline.

My Interview Timeline:

  • June 3rd: Completed virtual Superday loop.
  • Portal status updated to "Interview Complete." 2 Weeks Later A recruiter reached out to schedule an additional Managing Director (MD) round with a Tech Fellow.
  • MD Round: Completed shortly after, and the conversation went very well.
  • 1 Week Post-MD: For my follow up email Recruiter replied saying: "Waiting to hear back from the hiring team, thanks for being patient."
  • Current Status: It has been 3 weeks since that update (4 weeks total since the MD round). I’ve sent polite follow-up emails each week since then, but haven't received any response. My applicant portal still shows "Interview Complete."

For anyone who has navigated a similar Goldman Sachs VP loop:

  1. Is radio silence despite weekly follow-ups typical while headcount/compensation approvals move through HR, or does this usually point to being put on hold/backup?
  2. Has anyone experienced communication dropping off with the generic recruiter inbox (ETO distribution list) before eventually getting an update or offer?
  3. What is the usual timeline after an MD round before receiving a final decision or verbal offer?

Appreciate any insights or experiences you can share!

Two weeks of silence after final panel for Goldman Sachs VP Software Engineer (Dallas) - status says "Interview Complete"

Hey everyone,

I finished up my final panel interview round back on June 3rd for a Software Engineer - Vice President role for the Dallas office.

It’s been exactly two weeks now and I haven't heard a single peep from recruiting. In the applicant portal on my dashboard status shows "Interview Complete."

The tricky part is that all of my interview invites came from a generic recruiting distribution list instead of a dedicated recruiter, so I don't even have a direct HR point of contact to check in with.

For anyone who has been through the VP loop at GS recently:

  1. How long did it take to hear back after your portal changed to "Interview Complete"?
  2. Is a 2+ week waiting game normal before getting an offer or a rejection?

The radio silence is getting a bit stressful, so I'd really appreciate any insights or recent timelines you can share. Thanks!
