1 week in Paris - please review my itinerary!
I'll be in Paris for a week this fall and would be very grateful if anyone that has been a couple times or lives there could review if this is doable or if this is unrealistic. Thank you so much already in advance!
Some background info: I am disabled and although I am completely able to stand and walk normally, unfortunately due to pain and fatigue that can hit me randomly sometimes, I am not always able to do so for extended periods of time and therefore am planning breaks resting in parks or my hotel room (in La Défense near metro line 1) in between attractions. I have a valid recognized EU disability ID (Germany) and am hoping to be able to access some of the accessibility tools offered at public attractions due to this.
Day 1, Friday Sep 25th: arrival via train in the early afternoon (TGV from Strasbourg), honestly just plan to check into the hotel, unpack and grab some dinner
Day 2, Saturday Sep 26th: visit les Galeries Lafayette, book a tour for Palais Garnier and see the ballet that night (given I get tickets once they go on sale of course, but since its a preview for young people Im opimistic!)
Day 3, Sunday Sep 27th: visit the Louvre arriving in the morning, possibly visit Musée D'Orsay in the afternoon (this is where I'd like some advice if that is even doable in one day? I assume I will be at the Louvre for at least 3-4 hours at minimum)
Day 4, Monday Sep 28th: I would like to see a catacombs tour and visit Notre Dame and Saint Chappelle, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. I am undecided what time is best allocated to which attraction, especially since I assume Notre Dame and especially Saint Chappelle can take a lot of time to visit due to security checks.
Day 5, Tuesday Sep 29th: I plan to spend the entire day at Disneyland Paris. This is subject to seperate planning and prioritizing since the parks are quite big and one day is not even close to enough time to do everything of course
Day 6, Wednesday Sep 30th: sleep in because I will for sure be dead after a day at Disney lol, then visit the arc the triomphe and tour eiffel after lunch
Day 7, Thursday Oct 1st: check out of the hotel, then spend some downtime strolling around, maybe near canal St Martin or in Le Marais? until my train arrives in the afternoon.
edited to remove typos
second edit: thank you so much for the reviews and suggestions! I will be switching the arc de thriomphe visit to Sunday and the Musée D'Orsay to Wednesday.
If anyone has some insight on what time of day would be better to visit Notre Dame & Saint Chappelle - morning or afternoon - I would be very grateful! Also if anyone has used accessibility tools that are offered like priority entry lanes and can report if that works as well in practice as Im reading about in theory, please let me know! (mainly interested in the attractions with longer waiting lines such as the Louvre, ND & St Chappelle and tour eiffel. I would want to plan for a longer break before/after or possibly skip some attractions if I know I will have to wait in line for 4 hours, because unfortunately I cannot manage that several times a day and walk throughout the attractions for hours after 😔)
