Did anyone go into meniscus surgury without pain or only soreness, why.

Hello everyone, i was wondering if there are others like me without pain, only very little soreness.

If you go into surgury, why did you choose to do it?

I have a partial root tear on my right and a root tear on my left. Slight soreness only. Im 45f.

Menicus extrusion and complex tear with no pain after some time. Surgury?

Hi all, im in a dilemma whether to proceed with transtibia pull out repair. Based on report i have l medial complex meniscus tear of diminutive posterior horn and fraying of posterior root attachment without avulsion. peripheral extrusion of body..I read up its almost like a root tear.

Doctor suggesting to do a transtibial pull out and a cartilage repair as i have some cartilage wear. The reason im not sure to go ahead is i have 0 pain, maybe slight soreness in inner knee when I meet my physiotherapist and he overload me but I do my exercise on my own I dont feel pain or anything. I have full rom, my heel can touch my butt. I only started strengthening training my glutes thighs 1.5 month ago and no pain now. I dont have sport hobbies only like to travel and during travel would reach 15k steps sometims. Daily im desk bound and max 6k to 8k steps. I can move to deep squat as I never train before I cant push myself back up using leg strength yet. I need to use hand to push myself up. No pain when walking below 6k steps paced out throughout the day.

Im 45f so the doctor said usually he won't suggest surgury right away but for my case he feel I should proceed surgury. What should I do. Im not having any symptoms after physio 1.5 month. Before I got a mri due to I went travel and walked alot 20k and I also got a bad massage which trigger my knee pain. Then by chance I found out I had these issues, before all these I did have some temporary pain in my knees I guess when the meniscus tear but as it subside super fast like 1 to 2 days and some pain but slowly goes awayI did not put it to heart.

Should I now have 0 pain trade in for surgury to save my knee from arthritis. Doctor will be pulling the menicus back into root so I wont further pressure my cartilage.
