nyc artist recs!
Hello! i’m almost done w my first year living in queens after moving from upstate, but i’m still having trouble finding ways to meet other artists and see more shows! i’m chronically ill so all the ways i used to be able to access these shows have shifted and now i’m trying to find more resources in queens and brooklyn. i know a good amount that i follow on insta, but i’m looking for other visual art shows, theater, and mainly weird devised contemporary movement stuff. like mostly interdisciplinary weird stuff. i’d love to find more people interested in finding shows to see like this or get recs on art cohorts to apply to or even just art groups who meet every now and then to yap abt art. or maybe community theaters in queens and brooklyn. pls help!
