I will be headed to Hawaii (from canada) for a three week work trip and am looking for recommendations for things to do. I love the outdoors and enjoy hiking and canoing and was hoping that there was a way for me to try out an outrigger boat around the shore or island. Possibly even buying a paddle to use back home. Any sort of recommendations for trails or outdoor activities would greatly be appreciated.

Also is there any wildlife I should be aware of?
