[PIC] Looking for original author/publisher of these designs from late 1990s
Hello,
I am looking for the original author and/or publication where the designs of the Orthodox churches first appeared. All these embroideries came from my late relative, who never told where she got these. They have multiple mistakes in the geometry of the oval, which might mean that they were embroidered from some poorly constructed or unofficial scheme.
These designs were very popular in Ukraine, where I am from, in the late 1990s. The patterns were given to me on a sheet of paper copied by hand in 2000. I found some people selling embroideries with these designs on the local Ukrainian online marketplaces, but none mention where the designs came from. I also found different companies on Amazon Germany and Canada selling kits with these churches as cross stitch patterns and bead embroideries. But the distributors' shops are registered in 2010-2020s, which means that they lifted the designs from somewhere without crediting the original author/publication.
If anyone happens to know the original source of these designs, please share in the comments. If you happen to have these designs too at some point in your life, would you be willing to tell when and where you got them from? Maybe that will help to track the originals down.
