33m Please advice

I am seeking input on my recent test results following a varicocele surgery.

*Background:*

I am 5'11" and weigh 75 kg. I maintain a healthy diet and exercise regularly. I also take ashwagandha, maca root, CoQ10, and moringa daily.

I was diagnosed with grade 3 varicocele. Prior to surgery, my sperm count fluctuated between 4 million/mL and 8 million/mL.

I have not observed significant improvement in my sperm count post-surgery, as it fluctuates between 8 millions to 13 millions with a motility of 35% after 6 months now post surgery.

I have done a testersterone, FSH and LH test today. The results are below -

- *Testosterone:* 499 ng/dL (Reference: 400–1080)

- *FSH:* 6.03 mIU/mL (Reference: 1.27–19.26)

- *LH:* 7.57 mIU/mL (Reference: 1.24–8.62)

Could you please help me understand:

  1. Whether these hormone levels are considered optimal for spermatogenesis, or if they indicate room for improvement.

  2. If there are additional steps or treatments I should consider to improve sperm count and motility.

  3. What realistic timeline I should expect for improvement after varicocele repair, if any.

Any guidance from medical professionals or individuals with similar experience would be greatly appreciated
