The Role

You will manage the US-side logistics operations: arranging freight pickups from American suppliers, coordinating export shipments to Hamburg, handling documentation, and keeping all parties updated on shipment status.

What You'll Do

- Arrange LTL/FTL freight pickups from US suppliers (manufacturers, distributors, surplus dealers)

- Coordinate international freight forwarding from US ports and airports to Hamburg, Germany

- Prepare and review US export documentation (EEI, commercial invoices, packing lists, AES filings)

- Manage relationships with US freight brokers, forwarders, and carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, and specialized freight companies)

- Track active shipments and proactively communicate status updates to US clients and the Hamburg team

- Resolve freight exceptions, delays, and damage claims

- Maintain accurate shipping records in KTB Europe's logistics system

What We're Looking For

- 2+ years of US domestic freight coordination or international logistics experience

- Familiarity with US export documentation (EEI, AES filing, commercial invoices)

- Experience with freight forwarding platforms (Flexport, ShipBob, Freightos, or similar)

- Knowledge of major US carriers and freight brokers

- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple active shipments simultaneously

- Available during EST/CST business hours
