Lost my home due to my attorney's changing instructions and sudden withdrawal. Is there any accountability for this?

A few months ago, my bankruptcy case was dismissed because I caught the flu and missed a paperwork deadline. My lawyer was furious, but her attitude flipped to friendly once I paid her final fee installment.
4:00 PM: She texted that she would not help, but immediately called to say the opposite. After realizing I had paid, she calmed down and told me not to rush sending the paperwork because she only needed a "skeleton filing" to stop the auction.
6:30 PM: She texted that she was absolutely not filing. Then she called, screaming that I was selfish for ruining her social life because I hadn't sent the paperwork yet. By the end of the call, she calmed down and told me to call her at 9:00 AM the next morning to see what she could do before the 10:30 AM auction.
Auction Morning: I sent a partial retainer and the documents. She texted back "for what?", called to say she couldn't help, and the home sold at auction.
Afterward, we spoke on the phone and she offered to call me later in the week to discuss the case. I repeatedly asked if the sale was reversible. Instead of answering, she mentioned a foreclosure overage and helping me obtain it. When I pressed for specifics, she claimed to be in court and promised to call later.
Later that day, I requested my money back again. She tried calling, but I refused to answer and stuck strictly to text. When I texted to ask what specific services she was offering, she messaged back that she was not representing me, and finally returned my money.
I am financially wrecked. I lost over 70k in equity. Any advice is welcome.
