Google Zurich L3 (ML) - 2 Team Match rejections in 3 weeks. What to expect?
Hi everyone,
I'm based in Zurich and interviewing for an L3 SWE/ML role. I completed my in-person technical interview loop 3 weeks ago and successfully passed it, which moved me to the team matching stage. Since then, I've already had 2 Hiring Manager calls. The impressions seemed positive, but I ended up being rejected by both teams.
My recruiter is still looking for a 3rd match, but I want to understand what to expect next:
1 Does the fact that I got two manager calls quickly actually mean my profile score is good? Does it mean I have good chances to get others?
2 Generally, how many HM calls do candidates go through before landing an offer? Do these opportunities usually dry up after a few rejections?
3 Any suggestions on how I should proceed from my side at this stage to maximize my chances?
