Someone just told me that attack and defense triggers happen immediately when you attack and cannot be responded to. To my understand, this is false and all triggers can be responded to with a reaction speed spell. He then informed me that this was a recent errata post ban. I was told that this was to make cards such as Azir harder to stop and circumvent. I’ve been looking for this ruling errata for the last 20 minutes and I’ve had no luck finding it. So, is this person correct? If so, where is this rulings errata?

While I was grinding 2v2 on demands with a friend in Atlanta, we ran into this a LOT. We called 4 judges over at 4 separate games and they gave us 4 separate answers. So now I’m here trying to figure out which one is correct. From my understanding, you can play spells on your teammate’s turn, irregardless of whether or not it has Action, Reaction, or neither. From the 4 judges, here are what we were told:
My assumption was correct and you can only play spells on your teammate’s turn when they pass priority to you
You can play spells and also gear on your teammate’s turn
You can play spells and activate (but not play) gear on your teammate’s turn if your teammate invites you to do that (I have no idea what this even means, he did not elaborate)
You can play spells, activate gear, and activate legend abilities on your teammate’s turn
It was very frustrating because we ended up losing 2 games because a player was activating Heart of Dark Ice on their teammate’s turn and another one was using their Yasuo legend ability on their teammate’s turn and each time a judge was called, we got a different answer and was told the previous judge(s) were wrong.
