Need help for choosing between 3 versions of ninja gaiden 2: og 360, sigma 2 black mod and 2 white mod.
So I recently tried ninja gaiden 3 razor's edge on a whim. Long story short, at first I was very frustrated but once I realized that the tutorial wouldn't teach me everything essential for survival and I started experimenting myself, I ended up really liking it. I'm only on day 4 rn though. And apparently 1 and 2 are even better?! I had tried sigma about 3 years ago but I had a hard time grasping it. I even tried emulating black because everyone seemed to say it was much better, but I didn't click with it either. It also heated my PC way too much so I wouldn't go that route anyway. So I want to give the other games a shot after I beat razor's edge. But I'm torn between 3 options:
I buy the collection on steam, play sigma 1 (which apparently people were exaggerating about black being better) and play sigma 2 with the "sigma 2 black" mod to make it closer to the xbox 360 og which apparently is much better in every way.
I buy ninja gaiden sigma 1 on ps3 and buy ninja gaiden 2 black on pc with the "ninja gaiden 2 white" mod to make it closer to the xbox 360 og (although I'm slightly worried about whether or not it'll run well on my pc. Is it very demanding?)
Or I buy an xbox one for like 80$ and buy ninja gaiden black and ninja gaiden 2. Right now they're on 50% sale and black is at 5$ while 2 is at 15$. Or I guess I could ignore black and still play sigma on ps3, I could get it for about the same price anyway.
Obviously, the main factor between these three options is ninja gaiden 2. Should I go with one of the two mods that tries to restore the og experience or is it better to play the actual og on xbox? Yes, buying a whole console is a bit extreme but it's cheap and I'll probably find one way or another to justify the purchase later on anyway and actually make use of it besides just ninja gaiden 2.
