Just got transferred to Kolhapur from Mumbai for my job and Here are my few observations:

Good things:

1. food is good and cheap. Even though need to get used to food.

2. people are helpful.

3. travel timings are very low compared to Mumbai.

Not so good things:

1. no street lights working. This is baffling why municipal corporation has not done anything regarding it.

2. either no footpath or not walkable footpaths.

3. I observed rash driving is on higher side compared to many other cities.

These observations are for first 10-12 days only... Hoping for great stay here.
