I literally had to program my own script to capture the data content in the chat logs. Took me a minute to set up. Should be more intuitive and straightforward not doing other kind of stuff. I know it’s new and all but there should be easier way to export your data. Note, I will be using Gemini directly through its interface for now on instead through Google ai mode.

The desktop app on Mac is slow for some reasons and I’m not sure why especially comparing to the terminal by itself responsiveness. Is there way or doing something wrong to cause this issue? It’s eating up a lot of token usage while processing and not giving out timely output
