Finally got my hands on Trunks and Vegeta
I was really looking forward to have these two. Vegeta's QC was pretty decent, way better than my experience with Games Begin Goku or the reports I've seen online. Crosses arms have some weird white spots, but everything else is fine.
Trunks on the other hand was more problematic than I expected. Despite being the new reissue as it says on the box, the guy was full of tiny issues that made the experience less than ideal. Overly tight joints all around, to the point where I cannot properly rotate the shoulders because they're so tight that the butterfly joint ends up moving first even after applying silicone grease, to the thighs being loose because the ball joints were too tight and the screw in them became loose. I spent a good portion of last night tightening and gluing the screws, as well as sanding and lubing the ball joint to avoid future issues. The wrist hinges are also a little loose and I hope that they last. At the very least the left bicep is not coming apart like older releases.
Despite all the problems, that's still my favorite look for trunks and right now it's the only figure of him with the sculpted on jacket, so I'm still glad I got him.
