Motion to Incur Debt - Chapter 13 Schedules
Hello bankruptcy friends! I'm working up paperwork to file a motion to incur debt which will be for a vehicle. My proposed sales contract meets all the requirements required by our trustee. We aren't sure how much we will put down but we know we will not go above $250-$300 max for a car payment. (Also, please do not suggest a cash car - that is not helpful in our case)
Two things we had a slight increase in income - but nothing overly substantial.
When completing my Schedule J for expenses - I have made some cuts on items such as Transportation (That was a big one - my husband is no longer traveling for work). I am also planning to drop some entertainment expenses.
Our currently monthly net income is about $4400. In making those changes to our monthly expenses - It will now make our net $4600.
Do y'all think the trustee will find that amount sufficient for approval, or should I decrease an expense a bit more? I can probably take transportation down a tiny bit more as well personal care.
