Hi all, I've been part of this sub reddit on another account for some time now, in preparation for my own trip in the next month. I've booked a hotel in the 9e/10e, but they don't take any payment until I actually get there. I've stayed in hotels before where you pay partially upon booking and part on arrival, but this is for less than €400. Is it concerning that they didn't take any money? They did an active card check but that's it.

I'm 95% sure it's fine, but a small part of me is worried I'll turn up on the day and it all goes wrong 😅
