For the experts or others with experience, we bought house, ripped up smelly carpets, subfloor has at least 2-3 urine stains in each room upstairs.
I rolled Killz Restoration yesterday and some of the nastier stains came through the Killz.
I think this is normal, but if I apply a second coat this morning and it’s still coming through, would you be replacing part of the subfloor?
Would pics help of problem areas after the second has dried?
I am very worried because we have a male bengal that has a problem with peeing outside his box. I think the answer is replace portions of the subfloor to be sure but needing some advice.
Thanks in advance
That is the question.
Renovating townhome built in 1998 for daughter and there’s a pantry in the corner of the kitchen with the typical angled 24 inch door.
Unfortunately there’s drainage and venting pipes in one of the walls of the pantry and I could still remove the pantry but be left with a 24 inch stub wall. I can hide it or build into it, but got me thinking
What’s the problem with a pantry? Large walk-in pantries off the beaten path in the vicinity of the kitchen are popular but did these 42x42 pantries with the 45 degree door go out of style or did builders just stop building them?
My daughter’s talking like the home is devalued because it has this particular style of pantry.
Opinions are appreciated!
